Blaze, Flicker, Ember, Ash
Blaze, Flicker, Ember, Ash
(Death of a campfire)
Written: by Tom Wright
February 2015
The death of a campfire
Scurry little embers,
Run and hide.
You’re a vagabond of time,
Ready to expire;
Soon, as ashes,
You’ll forever abide.
