Blanketed In Stars
Walking on the beach at sunset
Glistening in the moons glow
The sands so soft beneath my feet
Exfoliating my soul
My heart is skipping beats
As you look into my eyes
You pull me oh so close
To lay a kiss upon my cheek
No one else around us
Just the gentle waves of the sea
Crashing up upon the shore
Pushing forward than letting go
Listening to the sounds of your heart
As I lay upon your chest
Watching it rise and fall
As you take each and every breath
Wishing on every star I see
Up in this heavenly night time sky
Thanking God my Lord above
He blessed me with such a loving guy
Praying for this night to go slow
For I never want it to end
Just you and me, the moon, the sea
On this beautiful romantic beach
Our own little tropical island
Away from the rest of the world
Where we can be together forever
Underneath a blanket of stars
