Blank Page

I sit and stare at the blank white page
And I wonder what I could possibly write
Nothing is coming to me today
And I am not feeling especially bright

I am not sure what has happened
Or why I have drawn this blank
I have written some wonderful works
It could be my talent has shrank

I usually write with something to say
But the blank page is still there
And today it seems is not a good day
For me to write something to share

But I will try again tomorrow
Something surely will come to me then
This must have happened to me before
But right now I can’t remember just when

I will look at this page tomorrow
Then drink some coffee and ponder
What could I possibly write today?
And see this blank page is no longer

Hi Connie, a very nice lovely avatar. I don't know why, but I love what you did here. Maybe tomorrow you will feel what you can't today. I got blank many times before. That coffee might give it a kick. Enjoyed. SKAT
