Blackout Poetry- Detached

I'm almost disappointed
when
the pot of tea is
off the stove.

I forgot
her.

She stands next to me,
unconvinced.

I step aside
and let her
weep and wail.

She's here
for a few more days
and I will
figure this out.

She was sick
for years.
