Blacklight

That moment when you realise
All along it was a pile of lies
Dark cotton painted white,
All along you were in the dark, and it seems so bright.

Doing everything right yet it feels so wrong,
It is a dreadful song
Ears are deaf, nor can eyes see
Shrouded hopes, oh innocent me.
