Blackbird -- slight typo corrected


What is that, 'midst gray silhouette
A night-winged creature slips, beset?
Fluttering through pampas and ground
Mellow the dulcet trails of sound

O blackbird, my breaths awaken
By soft chimes...this angst forsaken
Glimmering 'neath still of moonlight ,
I find peace in warlber's hymned flight !

Oh my, this is so evocative and profound, dear Nette. Your storytelling skills and the way you've painted a deeply captivating imagery with the wizardry of words here, ah, impeccable. I especially love that second stanza... "O blackbird, my breaths awaken By soft chimes...this angst forsaken" That part conveys so many sombre sentiments, touching one's soul in myriad ways.
