Black Stones

I hand you radiant light
You hand me black stones
Blackened by your fears
Never to see the sun
For fear of pain to come.

Darkest obsidian from years gone by
What is the greater tragedy?
Where is your power to know?
Muted from within
I sigh dark misery
You hand me black stones.....

Powerful. Even stones may be useful, precious, obsidian, or diamond ... or mere pebbles. LOved it. shalom, shalom
