Black Man

Black Man Black man Hear the earth cry From blood shed on its land How many must die before you take a stand Put down that gun you hold in your hand When will you grown from a boy to a man Its time you be THE MAN! Black man Someone's father, brother are son Look at your mother See her tears fall She wonders why her son keeps ignoring God's call Are do you wonder why your child cries Are is the question why your seed goes without a father? Black man! Your descented from kings Greater is he who dwells in thee How long must it be Before you take your rightful place Already hated because of your race When will you take a stand? Black man Hold up one another Instead of killing off your brother Once gone no coming back To forgive is to be forgiven Learn from your past this to shall pass Black man! A world who fears a strong black man Didnt martin luther king have a dream When will you finish what he started Stop being the target Black man! Your a lion Roar! Walk proud and tall Your a protector a fighter Wear you skin well Be who you truly are A BLACK MAN! © , Coreatha K mccoy
