Black Lion

Black Lion roar,
behold the king my peers has come through the door
The mighty sing
A thunderous ring
So still in the night the fear it shall bring
Catch me for I am a broken thing
So will you not see
for I am to be
The one who is chosen has fell to its knee
I am the key
You always new it was me
The original of the world
Is who I will always be.

I enjoy how you see yourself as a black lion. What a metaphor -

You're confident, and that's a very good quality, indeed. I can hear you "Roar," and I'm not frightened. Welcome to Poetry Soup. My best to you. ~ Brandy

Thank you so much , the black lion could never be violent, only kind and used as a spiritual protector.
