Black Is the New Red

He liked to drive real fast Wanting the driving to last And was clocked at a 253 kmh speed In a 110 kmh zone so reckless indeed But the blue caught his black utility Stopping him with flashing lights too He thought that black was the new red Driving without a full licence instead His learner’s permit for 12 months was suspended The Holden utility was not registered So his made the nightly news For driving nobody would excuse. © Paul Warren Poetry
