Black In America
To be black in america is like a wound never given a chance to heal, there are times when bandages are placed upon the hurt before racism creeps in forcing them to peel.To be black in america is liken to an ever burning welt the harder we struggle the more it is felt. Our children are being slaughtered before they are men, an evil enjoyed by the oppresser since slavery began. To be black in america is to wear many mask,to survive an ever present evil that flourishes from the past. Heritage and home land stripped away then forced to exist in a foreign land where the choice is die or obey.To be black in america in 2013 is a struggle that continues but in the eyes of the world seldom ever seen.
