Black Hole

I was the center of attention.
A bright prodigy,
born from a cosmic cradle,
collapsed under the gaze
of a million demanding stars.
dreams and expectations crushed
by bending their rules of nature.
Now it all revolves around me,
not them, us, nor you,
only I in singularity.

Great tribute to mother nature and thanks for bringing us to pay attention. :) Sunita

The irony of your words is stark: Black holes are 75%+ of our universe, their effects on us mind-boggling, yet how many among us buy that? ---Climate change, Me-too, and Election scandals obsess us,...while the screaming singularity goes unheeded. Woe to us! Great write, Kyrill!
