Black Girl Advise

Reciting this poetry twice
Listen to good advice
Go back to your roots
Embrace who you are
Appreciate your color
Accept all that you are
Research your history
Discover what you are
Learn each day to adore and love who you are
Develop into a better and educated young adult
Hold unto your morals
Stay devoted and ever so loyal
Try to be optimistic
Pursue a life like a royal
Hold unto your dream
Live life to your fullest
Dont be misguided or blinded
In all that you do stay positive and strong
Dont let people who do you wrong
Talk and pull you down
Being black doesn't mean you should wear a mask or a frown
It only means that you were created black
Mighty and strong so get rid of that frown
Time to avoid those who are cruel and disloyal
There were never your brother , sister or loyal
Try to make mends for all those wrong bends
Stay away from fake friends
Whose intentions are to bring your end
Their mission is not to defend
But to plot againts your end.
