Black Eyes
These black eyes
Are far too wise
As I slip through
And meet your gaze
The night sky
Is spotless with
No room for flaws
My sight woven
With bands of black silk
Black seems thick
Heavy and slick
Black seems tangible
Swallowed by the night
Wavering between the excitement
Begotten by the thrill
And a desperate need to escape
Till I see my silhouette
Reflecting in the water
Looking into a mirror
Cast by the moon!
