Black Dog and the Baby
Black Dog and the Baby
She was a little Baby;
Who loved her Mother’s voice.
She knew nothing of Roe vs Wade
And nothing of Pro-choice.
Black dog you are evil,
Get away from here,
You lap up the Blood of babies
While the Politicians cheer.
She felt so warm and happy;
In the sweetness of the womb.
But her journey to the outside,
Led directly to her tomb.
Black dog what you doing?
Have you just come here to fight.
And steal our little Baby,
In the stillness of the night?
She would have been a singer
Who could soothe a troubled mind.
Whose parents would have loved her,
If they’d only took the time.
Black dog quit your scratching,
You are too rough and wild,
She wasn’t just a chunk of meat.
She was a little Child.
