Where did you go ?
Your once ebony muzzle
Now white as snow.

Where did you go ?
Your once easy gait
Now halted and slow.

Where did you go ?
Your bright brown eyes
Are losing their glow.

Where have you gone ?
I’m here by your side
Right where I belong.
