Black Diamond

His is a voice felt rare ...
undetectable vibrations of thought,
outside the visible spectrum,
creates the flashing aurora of his poetic atmosphere
Hear the magnitude of his pen's rumble,
then be mystified as to where will
the exposed mantle of lies quake and crumble
A cosmic man-child,
born with the soul of the universe
in his heart
Awash in transcendent wisdom ...
but so few see this black diamond,
whose brilliant light shines within his pen
O Illustrious One,
he whose birth fate was to dispense such wisdom,
which goes mostly unnoticed
Sage knowledge not widely received,
because who would believe a man
who says things many cannot conceive
Black diamond
continue to shine bright within
the prism of your passionate pen
For in due time, when enough
pressure and fire
perfectly sculpt this carbon rock
Transforming it into pure crystalline ice,
this black diamond will be esteemed
to have a value without price
Radiating such marvelous thought transmitting light
brightly into the dark apocalyptic night

A tribute to my beloved friend, Steven Henderson
