there are so much contrasts between night (the death) and fruits (the life), the poem is deep and artful, enjoyed yann

Evelyn, what a perfect expression of the Moonlight Sonata in "plum, evening" and "peach prime!" Moonlight Sonata is one of my all time favorite pieces. Your beautiful, and most color-filled, imagery captures its shimmering essence in your magical haiku string as the black diamond shines "at the other side of night!" Thank you for this moment of peaceful loveliness in the whisper of moonlight. Merry Christmas, my friend!

I absolutely loved the title of your poem, I have a poem too which i wrote sometime ago havent posted on soup, which is called black diamond. So your title really drew me in to read more. I absolutely love your haiku chain. Especially “ heart of joy twinkling gone down in sea of colors” such magical and beautiful imagery. And also i love how you’ve mentioned “ dream roses” pleasure reading you always. Definitely a fave for me

Oh my, this is such a whimsical haiku, dear Evelyn. I'm always mesmerized by your beautiful wordplay and this one is truly shimmering in its enchanting magic.. I absolutely love the how it flows gorgeously with the title and the imageries that these lines paint. You've conveyed so much within such few words, that too, so impeccably! "summoned black diamond /sun's at other side of night/with the dream roses" Ah, loveee this! And that ending is intriguing.. A fav :)
