Black Culture White Society

black culture,
white society,
hope falling,
crime rising,
faith deminished leeching out of the seams,
someones been shot you can still hear the screams,
education is minimum and poverty is the norm,
children being brought up in a one parent home,
we as culture rant and rave about our mistreatment,
but turn around say that white man deserved his beating,
we hold grudges that get worse as the days pass by,
yelling about our history on how our ancestors died,
very little is to be done to brighten the future,
color specific movements that always end in shootings,
if only we could move past such distress from the past,
maybe one day we could dream about making the human race last.

A very beautiful written poem, a very inspirational poem, I like what you re trying to do, I truly wish from heart that racism should get finished, but it will never, every human being should be treated fairly, no matter if someone s black he s still a human and he has the right to be treated as, however I m new on this site and would really appreciate if you could find time to read my poems and give your honest reviews about them

The only thing people should take from the past is lessons. Learn from those and we may avoid mistakes. That is truly the best bridge to the future. A fabulous write.
