Black Clouds

Black Clouds

Denying warmth,
they bring gloom,

copious wetness,
a dreadful squall.

Spent, they part;
admit the exiled sun.

Early morning reading to get the mind buzzing. Thank you for sharing your excellent poetry Jay. Have a fabulous weekend and I hope to see more of your poetry when I get back to the Soup Monday. Usually pretty busy on the weekends with family so don't get to read much. Love, Carol
