Black Cat

Black cat
Why do you hide in the shadows?
I see your tired , yet calm.
Do you not fear your life?
Are you too drowned in your sorrows?
I see the lack of faith in tomorrow.
Black cat
Your skin so rough.
I see your coat is not
As shiny as it was.
Deep in your stare from afar
I saw the dispare
Yet you continue to run.
You come back though
Everyday.
You come to my sacred garden,
My healing space.
I know you find comfort in me.
Although your scared.
I understand you deeply.
Black cat
I don't know you all that well.
In me I promise a friend,
I am always there.
Black cat
I see your wisdom
& Your love of life still.
Even if you live your last moment hopeless.
I will always care.
