Black Cat
People just need a scapegoat
For their trouble and bad luck,
What difference does it make who crossed the road -
A cow, a sheep, a black cat or a duck?
There was a cat,
He was pitch black,
He was looked at
As a bad luck.
It wasn't fair,
It wasn't smart
To judge by color
The poor cat.
He was so sad
To live astray,
He wasn’t bad,
Why run away?
One thing he dared
As getaway -
He changed his hair
From black to gray.
There was a cat,
So cute and grey,
He was so glad
To make his way.
I have to tell,
He is looked at
As nothing else
But gorgeous cat.
People just need a scapegoat
For their trouble and bad luck,
What difference does it make who crossed the road -
A cow, a sheep, a black cat or a duck?
