Black and White

My life is painted in black and white
My world is square
I feel boxed in
My heart is trapped
With nowhere to go and no one to love
Black and white
I feel so plain
Like no one can see me
Like a ghost you look right through
I feel dead
Until
You take my hand and show me the way
Guide me through this mess
Lead me to something new
Something wonderful
The world is black and white
Like in old pictures
Or an old love film
Where true loves last forever
I wish we could be like those movies
We could last a lifetime together
If you kiss my lips and tell me you love me
We can be black and white
