Black Abyss

The spent submerging sun in my scarlet sky Colors the time of my listless life passing slowly by At the edge of the dark night my horizon waits In the depth of black abyss. In twilight hour the sky transforms to a collage of colors Weaving for me the tapestry of the departing day Behind the silver-lined charcoal clouds my stars hide In the depth of black abyss. The dust of despair drizzles on the darkened skyline From the descending night veiling the ebony future My murky mind wants to discover the lost dreams In the depth of black abyss. The fragile footprints fade in the threshold of ashen dusk I’m walking the last mile in the inky shadow of obscurity Hoping to see a new sunrise in sable horizon before I sink In the depth of black abyss.
