Bittersweet Tears

Bittersweet teardrops trickle slowly down dark black hair a curtain hiding me from the world that I do not wish to face I love you I still do But I was naive gave you all I had to offer and you broke me Harsh words Empty promises False love If I could cry myself a river I could leave and swim away from you and all the hurt Leave it all behind as I battle the tears losing slowly but surely they slide down I wipe them away salty and sweet droplets forming more and more drip to the ground I cry all alone no comfort no joy no light all-encompassing blackness cloaks my world and there is nobody there to stop it
