I may not be everyone's cup of tea That I never invited anyone around to try If you ever had the chance to meet me You may not agree or agree But what you see Is what you get And bittersweet Never judge me If you don't know the man I am And it may surprise you If you read my history About my life from a book You'd understand The things I've seen And the places I have been Not always a smooth ride Like some other people But I made it through no man's land Wounded and scared But somehow For some unknown reason I'm still here And survived I'm nothing special And no hearo But sometimes A rebel with a cause Just humble and kind But like everyone else I make mistakes And stumble Sometimes Caring for everyone but myself Spreading my love to everyone No matter who they may be It's not so much how they may look But the heart they own I wear my heart on my sleeve And have feelings like anyone else Sometimes I feel like an old dusty tatters book No one wants to read And left on the shelf Or lost luggage That no one ever claims Stored under a pile Of baggage With no label or name I have had many good times as well It's either been heaven Or hell Been a clown and a fool But I still appreciate all the things that I have got And not so much what I have not My ship of Dreams must have floundered Somewhere and sunk To the bottom of the sea Because the treasure I wished for Never reached me The message in a bottle I threw it into the ocean Must have got lost somewhere A note never read Put simply S.O.S.
