Bittersweet

Bittersweet empathy craws upon my skin
breathing every sweet essence i can take in
the smell of revenge upon my mind
the words you said were so unkind
you live a life of tales and lies
and no wonder you feel the world has left you behind
its not the way to treat people the way you do
at the start we all tried to look out for you
you burnt your'e bridges right at the seems
dont tell me you didn't really want to be mean
she thinks we should all forget what you have done
but then you always were under your'e mothers thumb
forgive and forget is not an option this time
a simply sorry really just wont cut it
so dont tell us all to just forget it.
