Poem#33

                                                             “Bitter Sweet”

Imagine that you have a loved one who has been called home to the Lord, but that person is still inside you. Occasionally, you wish the time capsules would come back in time, but it must happen at some point. Sometimes I wondered why I was being punished by the Creator of the Heavens? In the King James Version of the Psalms, it begins, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall rest in the shadow of the All-Powerful."
Basically, Christians should spend time loving and cherishing those they cherish while they are still alive, and inhaling the fragrance while they are alive.
My Eternal Father is always there for me, and that is why "Bitter Sweet" is my favorite.

Yes, Gretchen, I agree, we should always tell those we love. We love them as one they won't be there. Prayer and spending time in the Bible always helps me. When I'm in pain of a lose. Enjoyed your poem. Nicely written. Blessings ~ Debra
