Bitter Sweet Words

A poem is a touch When life is itchy It ease a burden If you read it by heart The words are simple No one get stuck If you get the message Just let it flow freely To imagination relay Sweet or bitter words Are all therein if you wait Till all the lines you read You felt the emotions you get Just don't pretend it hurts Or smile if it struck you the most.

Hello Hugo, Yes poetry is medicine to people. I was hurt badly by my husband. The anger grew stronger every day. Until i could not take it any more. I chose a poem a poet created I read it a few times and each time I did this, the hurt I was feeling got less and less. Now i put this all behind me. I have moved on.

Poetry is a medicine to most people. I believe line words rhyme or not really heals the heart, the mind, the body, and the soul. It purify, it rectify, it fortify and it cleans the drowsies, the dirts, the doubts, the confusion, the evils of this world. It turns war to peace, it negotiates opposition, it change the direction from destruction to prosperity, it melts hate to love and it makes us a newborn man in the body and in the spirit. You're right, it lighteb a burden. Thank you, Darlene for the right perspective of a poet. I love you more. Keep safe./ Hugo.
