Bitter Sweet
Bitter sweet,
your gonna get the best of me.
Like a dream I watch
people lives progress further than mine.
Feeling hatred and self loaf
for myself.
Blaming others for my behavior.
Bitter Sweet,
your gonna get the best of me.
Bitter because you choose
others instead of me
I get many admirers
but there time line has gone
to far for me.
Sweet because just to be
acknowledge is a blessing in it's own.
Because this shape was not
worked out.
but purely home grown.
Bitter sweet,
your gonna get the best of me.
Like a safe haven
I fling myself into my poetry and songs.
Hoping and urging others
not to let there bitter be sweet.
Becase I didnt let mine
get the best of me.
