You are the man with the Haiku..... Your mighty whit(sword) is vicious.... Go ahead Sir Lancelot, slay your foe(readers), with limitless imagination(style).......Respect.....:JP]

Unique in itself, the thought that provoked, this witty Haiku,Raul. Hard to visualize a killing frost being prudish affection, but that is the way of the seasons, set forth by the Master, himself. Life is receiving some bad with the good, but the cycle of life itself, is the replinishing of form, not the power thereof. Sincerely, Moses

Amazing haiku, Raul. Those "frosty lips" will never meet mine here in Florida where the "virgin flowers" bloom all year long. Love the reference to "Prudish affection." Very intriguing image! I'm still settling in my new home and haven't had much time to spend on the Soup, but thanks for emailing me recently. I hope we can stay in touch. Love, Carolyn

The imagery and themes portrayed in these few lines are marvelous. I can acually see the flower recoiling.

Interesting here. That would be a really cold kiss now wouldn't it. Like the way you put this one together. Sara
