Bitter Little Man

You're nothing but a bitter little man
from a bitter little man land-
When our country is down and out
you piss on our purple mountains
stomping our stars into the ground.
You only spotlight our social frailties
never talk about all the good things
happening in this country.

You pluck out a couple of rotten fruits
from a giant basket of fresh ones
then parade them around-like a rabid hog..
Your selectivity is the very pinnacle of bigotry.
The bigot is that same malcontent who overextended his visa.
Breaching our borders, then bashing and demanding everything.
If we're such a racist country as you claim us to be
,, why are you still chasing the American dream?

Did you know all those "freebies" you enjoy
came from the sweat of us working-class peeps.
The white ones that you filet with hateful tweets.
So, what will the seeds of your heart reveal
:: fields of flowers or a bunch of skunk weed.

"We the people will straighten things out.
We'll rally and dream together again.
Because that's what we're all about.
Even after all the hate that you toss in our faces-
We'll still lend you a hand even though you'll bite it.

You may have to wait in line.
But there's always been a welcome mat.
Just beneath those stars and stripes
that you fancy to stomp on and spit at.
