Bitter Hope

I’m wasting away day by day. Missing you. My mind still accepts No one but you. I think of you All the time. I close my eyes And you are there. No one but you. I would that you had died. Yes, My grief would have run deep, but Nothing like the torment you caused When you took me to the highest plain And left me there to fall.

I did not title my peoms for years, and then I took a class and the professor insisted that everything I read have a title. So I went through and titled very quickly. The hope is there, but as with any grief it takes time to show.

Very well crafted little poem about bitterness. However, I see no hope! Keep up the writing. Andrea
