Bitter Goodbyes

Make it all your play thing darlin'
this world you trapse through bemused
amused? smiling wicked walking by
those lonely hearts abused
Each and every sunset you awaken to
leaves the sun regretting you
being unleashed as the harsh wind blew
Coldly
   Coldly you smoldered me
openly, open me and peer inside
Apathetic to what you find and left here now to die

Ive run before too darlin'...she cried as i said goodbye
yet with compassion I fled in right time
as her sobs still haunted my mind
....but you're fine
feelings are for those who feel
love is a theft where there is a heart to steal
           nothing about you is real
              nothing about you is real...
A mask of smiles and tatoos to conceal
              nothing about you is real

In the end i hope realization rushes in
grabs your soul shaking it,
recreating it
a newfound joy of love making it
But here your charred bridges black
will trap your past, forbidding comeback
and here you will know heartache

here you will see all twisted roads lead back to you
and feel the pain you put me through
