Bitter As a Torments Woe

Tomorrow's just a distant dream
Beyond the sunset sky
Elusive as the greatest love
Where shadows can't reside

For bitter as a torments woe
Steadily and vast
Where dreams resort to wishes now
I've secretly been cast

At break of day just past dawn
A souless shadow creeps
Searching for the unkempt joy
Yet never will they meet

Far beyond the midnight hour
The new day waits no more
Endless, ageless, timeless shrill
Beyond the distant shore

Given life with the light
Dying at day's end
Pretending all shall be OK
Still hastening its mend
