Bits of My Heart
Bits of my heart
I donate for charity
to those who lament
to orphans in villages
widows without hope
the displaced in camps
the war victims weeping
and all with lost love
bits of my heart I donate
for charity and consolation
holes, patches and scars
dot my heart everywhere
because no one pays back
bits I donate generously
