Bits of Me--Tag

Bits of me


                                           Shards of glass and bits of light 

                                               Nitro-beaded dynomite 

                                           Had all---lost all---in plain sight

                                           Each new day a challenged fight

                                               In testament of what's right.

                                           Heart of Gold still shines on--Bright 

                                           Through shattered pieces of blight.

                                           Heal the sick and hurting's plight,

                                           Help the poor with widow's mite.

                                                Artist,poet,singer, write 

                                           Songs and music, stories--quite!

                                           Instruments played with delight!

                                                Gifts galore--no list recites.

                                           Still waiting for that shining knight--
                                           On his horse to take me forthright!

It seems to help. Now about that knight -- does he have a brother for me? Great work!
