Bite My Words

I paid the price
More than twice

A word escaped
Intentionally constructed

It was fun that time
I was so blind

Should have known
That my little entertainment was very wrong

Now I sit here depressed
Can't believe, the cry for help

Will bother me for awhile
Will haunt me, I cannot hide

Should have remembered that issues do go round
I spit the venom, now I suffer from the venom
