Notes About The Poem
Modern Southern Style Biscuits..
Biscuits
Tall Aunt Euvela
Made biscuits for our dinner
It was requested of the crowd
How many biscuits are required?
My daddy said, "I always eat two."
Uncle Troy said, " You won't eat two of Euvela's."
When dinner was eaten,
All the dishes washed.
Uncle Troy said," Morgan, two you stopped short of."
Daddy said, "Troy, you was right those biscuits were as big as plate."
He continued, "No one could eat two of Euvela's biscuits."
That woman had those big hands with long fingers to match her six foot height..
