Birthdays
Chubby cheeks and cheerful birthdays,
Were merry go lucky childhood days,
Then realised we were getting older,
Celebrations started turning colder !
Till taller than us our own kids grew,
Our ageing humour did certainly brew,
Today we celebrate our natal days,
And now are as young in all ways !
Seriousness of life at once flew,
Strong sense of wit was changing hue,
Young friends could well change the outlook,
Cherishing turning pages of a golden book !
Cutting of cake and chocolate smeared on face,
A great laugh then adds to an ageful grace,
Dancing to the tunes of a rocking music,
Many left heartbroken, rather than getting sick !
