Birthday Girl

On the day you were born
I waited outside
Your mother in tears
Your dad full of pride
It's a girl they both shouted
Come look and see
And with antisipation
I followed there plee
I looked in the cot
With you laying there
A little pink bundle
Wrinkled face and no hair
But those days have gone
And let me just say
You're a pretty young woman
Getting prettier each day
Now your facing your future
Keep your eyes on the track
Keep looking forward
Try not to look back
Your 18 today
And that is so swell
Have a wonderful birthday
My darling niece Michelle

Oh that was so beautiful. A very happy birthday to Michelle. She's privileged to have such a caring aunt. Great tribute. Love, Chitra
