Birthday
Today Is my birthday I am 28 years old too
I’ve thought long and hard of what birthday wishes I want to come true
I thought I might want something shiney
And brand new.
But I changed my mind wondering
If going for a walk will do.
We can hike on trails and run a mile or two.
But I do not belive that is what I want for this birthday.
As I think of all the things I think I want I see that
My wishes have already come true.
This I know is the happiest birthday I have had
Just waking up next to you,
No today this birthday should not be about me
It should be about you.
