Birth of a Tear
Journey began long before final descent.
It started deep within heart's well;
Rising to the top as a word called love.
Once danced so happily in eye's ballroom.
Now just a member of an endless dripping list.
To be no one's baby must fill one with sorrow;
Never to feel the embrace that holds you forever,
Just to drop into infinity is the cruelest end.
So many brothers and sisters already born.
Gone with one blink of an emotion;
Traces of sibling's existence vanishing in moments,
Yet to fall with such sad glory does preserve the memory.
Aborted in an instant,
Without even the courtesy of a glance.
Squeezed from a life duct taken for granted;
It's only natural but what a way to go.

"A poem to me is the essence of any thought,
Being built from its foundation into tower scraping sky.
It can fly like no other bird to places never seen,
Even spaceships can only dream of taking its place."
