Birth Me a River

Mighty the river flows along the steep valley
Crystal clear water blue as the sky and as deep
Created by its own action but really by Mother Nature
Water flowing, rolling, acting, forming, birthing
Not stopping till the river wears itself out
Till nothing remains but a landscape memory
At this spot there was once a mighty river
On one distant day there will be a different river
Just as majestic as the original in a divine land
