-birth-

Daily Poetry #77, April 15, 2017
Word: Birth

Like
a time
that cannot
be repeated,
that smile shines bright.
Pure, innocent, lively,
something only pictures can
remember, for when we forget.
A miracle in a blanket, that
cry is a murmur, an echo, through time.
A new melody appears in the world.
Curiosity moves it further,
a motivation that moves us,
makes us dance, in the same way.
That spark only shows once,
so light the fire
right away so
it will stay
burning
bright.
