Birth

I came into this world before my due date 4:02am was the time Thursday chose me I was tiny and fragile They threw me into the Metal sink and allowed My slippery body to caress it My Mother was too weak to hold me My cry echoed in the room Other babies had arrived earlier than me They finally cleaned me up and wrapped me With a shawl My mother couldn't contain her smile, when She finally held me in her arms
