Birth

With each release her breath comes easy
eyes focus
humming in the ears drums down
and she can hear voices
color returns
but there again the muscles tighten
and she relaxes against what some call pain
but this is
birth.
rejoicing she remembers
conception
same release same floating in extreme pleasure
as she relaxed to let her body
take her there
with him
and they breathed together again
again
again
release
