Birds In Heaven

Will there be birds in Heaven? I rather hope there are— Feeding from angelic hands, And swooping bout a star. And I hope there is a garden, Maybe too, a misty moor— Or possibly a babbling brook, Or some tract of savored shore. Still, as long as I am musing Of how Heaven ought to be— Then may there be a snowy wood... And of course, a blue-green sea!

Hi Suzanne. I want, hope or wish for heaven to be a tropical island with trade winds and a coral, turquoise sea—and God assigns me to tend to the animals—and poetry! Still, an emerald forest, a mirror lake and a vale of downy flake would be nice. I’ll see what I can do :)

Hi Charmaine. Call me weird, but the idea of gold streets and harps is disconcerting. Hawaii is my model of paradise. I could hang there forever :)
