Bird-of-Paradise

So, he came and dazzled you with his plume
And you simply succumbed to his grooming.
Pregnant, he’s gone, what have you got to do?
This may very well be your undoing.

Congratulations on your 5th place win, Ryan. It was an interesting take on the Bird-of-Paradise brief, employing it as a metaphor. The trailing rhymes (plume/grooming; do/undoing) were perfectly executed. See my soup mail for details to claim your prize.
