Bird Eyed View

...and then he found nothingness

	hidden on the tree of circled life

		cradled in a bird’s nest waiting

			patiently in infinite surrender


                        prayer curled up in a few gnarled branches

	       begging bowl made from twigs and belief

	the answer to unquestioned tranquility

fate destiny and prophesy’s shelter


a weaver bird in restless winds

	tapestry of wordless courage

		budding embrace caressed

			wings and roots in one


                        he braved temptations and mistrust

	        shed doubts transgressions imperfection

	settled old scores and sourced his pen

smudged purple ink into his weary soul ...
